Let’s Talk About Imposter Syndrome

What is Imposter Syndrome? In times past, many thought Imposter Syndrome was a “woman’s issue” which was tied to that feeling of inadequacy as they broke through glass ceilings to climb higher on the ladder of success.

We questioned whether we belonged there and struggled against outside forces who would tear down meritorious success and point a decrepit finger of contempt, no doubt because they were holding on to their status like a mama bear fights to protect her cub. Ironic how people who strut and preen often suffer with the same feeling of inadequacy.

In truth, Imposter Syndrome is prevalent across age, gender, culture, and festers within the minds of creative people to cutthroat executives.

A Livestream Event

Brian K. Morris hosts a weekly show Clever Title Pending.

On Tuesday, May 26, 2020, Brian invites a panel of fellow creators to talk about Imposter Syndrome. I am honored to take a seat with Luke Stone and Karl Witsman as we discuss the inner struggle with self-confidence and inadequacy.

There is value in sharing our stories.

What prompts those fraudulent feelings? How do we cope when the dubious deception monster whispers in our ear?

If you’ve got questions, this panel will try to address them during the livestream. Be sure to subscribe to Brian K. Morris on his YouTube channel so you can be part of the show. And if you miss it, no worries! Clever Title Pending is available on iHeartRadio.
