You Can Control Your Destiny
Once you realize that there are certain things you have control over, then the hard work of navigating up, over and through the hurdles to control your destiny begins.
Don’t hide who you are or what you believe. Speak loudly, even if it’s only to yourself about your deepest desires and go for it. No one has the ability to control you unless you give them the power to do so.
The question is: Are you?

Coco Channel was a powerhouse of a woman and she is an excellent example of a badass who took control of her destiny. It is never too late to live the life you want.
I know that’s easy to say, but where to start when everything feels overwhelming or downright hard? Yeah, that’s a good question.
So let’s talk about some really tough decisions and see if we can put our issues into perspective. When Shiloh identified as a boy, parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt supported John’s decision to take control of his destiny. And despite his amazing sports history, Bruce Jenner identified as a woman and went through the arduous transition and life-long desire to be a badass woman on the inside and outside. Age did not stop Caitlyn Marie Jenner from taking control of her destiny either.
You might be thinking, whoa, the changes I want in my life aren’t nearly as drastic as John and Caitlyn. Yes, those are extreme examples. The point is to take a stand and be who you are. Define yourself and treat others the way you want to be treated.
Perhaps your destiny lies in turning a hobby into a career, or switching your major in college because your skill set and super power is not what you’re doing now.
Don’t get me wrong – there are benefits and major pitfalls to jumping in the deep end with both feet when it comes to life decisions. It takes a lot of introspection and planning.
Just remember that the decision to control your destiny falls squarely within your control. It’s okay to hear what other people have to say but ultimately they don’t live in your skin nor do they live your life so carefully weigh how much influence they have on your future.
Be honest especially with yourself. Stay true and do what’s right. Your inner compass will guide you to the destiny and goals you’re working toward.
